I loooooove turkey and apple together! I must try this! My grandpa always put a slice of cheese on his apple pie, too. I haven’t tried it yet either!

I’ve been the same way lately and making a lot of 15 minute recipes. In California it has been so HOT these past few days. Like, 90 degrees. I couldn’t stand the idea of turning the oven on. This sandwich looks delicious! Love that you put apple in there. I know that would give it great crunch and a tangy flavor!

Oh lord, woman. One of my most favorite combos! When I was at Smith College, there was this AWESOME deli/grocery in downtown Northampton that served this perfect sandwich. Thinly sliced green apples, oven roasted turkey, thinly sliced shaaaaarp cheddar, a mound of spicy sprouts and this roasty-savory-aoili, the exact flavors I can’t remember. On toasted whole grain bread? I swooned. It was the first thing I missed when I started going to school at Vandy. You might have just found an option to replace my desire to go back to Northampton just for the sandwich!
