Wow and Yum. I have never seen carbonara made with whipping cream, only eggs, so I can only imagine how rich this is. But special occasions call for special dinners.

I love carbonara but rarely make it myself. When I do, I tend to eat double servings! This looks AMAZING.

In reply to Jenny. I think they do, but I like walnuts. They add a nice contrasting crunch. If you don't like them, you can certainly leave them out.

This sounds amazing! Do the walnuts really add much to this dish as I really dislike them and will probably just leave them out.
